R:Archive 7.6
Introduction
Using your scanner, R:Archive allows you to automatically, or manually,
scan documents to PDF, JPG, or TIF file formats. After a physical
document is automatically or manually scanned, R:Archive allows
you to set file title and keyword properties for future searching
capabilities.
A major enhancement to R:Archive is support for OCR (optical character
recognition), which enables you to capture data, or a specific area region,
from your scanned documents.
The R:Archive application search capabilities allow you to
search all scanned images through R:Archive. The search
criteria allow you to define the date, operator or title.
R:Archive also allows you to search and index PDF documents
residing on your computer. Once the documents are indexed,
you can easily review the PDF document information and
preview the actual file.
Catalog reports are available for all documents scanned, PDF files
documents indexed, and document management sessions.
R:Archive includes database maintenance to keep your system running
smoothly. A table analysis can be performed on each table, and if
required, you can pack the table. Additional maintenance includes
packing the indexes and a database backup routine. You can even
review the User Access and Session Log Tables.
